Project Manager for “The European Marine Biological Resource Centre Biobank” project, funded through the Program for Interregional Cooperation in the Atlantic Area (INTERREG-ATLANTIC AREA/ERDF).
The European Marine Biological Resource Centre Biobank will set the basis for the common operation of the leading marine biobanks in Europe. Tools and common procedures for the ex-situ maintenance of Marine Biological Resources will be developed, and harmonization in the application of procedures to comply with regulations on access to genetic resources will be ensured, thus providing industry and academia with easy access to marine biodiversity, its associated data, and extractable products.

Salary: 27.000 € /year gross salary
Responsible for the financial, technical and administrative day-to-day management of the Project, in collaboration with the International Projects Office of University of Vigo.
Leading the project administration, meetings, data analysis and reporting of results.
Assisting the Project Coordinator in the coordination of work and communication of project deliverables.
Assisting the Project Coordinator in the search for opportunities to further develop the European Marine Biological Resource Centre Biobank beyond the life and scope of the project.
-Experience in the management of multipartner international projects
-Excellent communication skills; fluent English speaker
-Good knowledge of the EU research funding schemes
- A background and/or experience in Marine Biology will be an asset
